TCYMN 4th Youth Film Showcase a Success!

On October 25th youth from around Minnesota gathered in the Walker Cinema. They prepared to see their videos and films on the big screen. As the time came closer adults and youth a like, entered the theater nearly filling each seat. The lights went down and still people were filing into the theater to catch this year's All City Youth Film Showcase. 18 films were introduced by this year's curators, Camila Davila (Saint Paul Neighborhood Network), Lech Lor (Phillips Community Television), Marty Marosi (Walker Art Center Teen Arts Council), and Innokenty “Kesh” Zavyalov (Perpich Center for Arts Education).

Curator's Choice Award: "The Gun" by Trevor Byrd, Ayan Maruf, Abdullahi Omar, Luke Pha and Roba Samera, Phillips Community Television (PCTV)
Audience Choice Award: "Hoop Dreams" by Evan Gabriel and Patrick Risberg
